It happens to all of us. You’re sitting outside, enjoying a lazy summer evening, when a familiar high-pitched noise assaults your ear. Also keep all doors (including garage doors) shut and check window and door screens to ensure they fit properly and don’t have holes. If you have standing water from birdbaths, wading pools, etc. replace the water at least once a week. Also clean roof gutters and downspouts regularly. Weekly lawn maintenance will also help cut the mosquito population – keep bushes and shrubs trimmed, the lawn mowed and eliminate any unneeded vegetation, weeds and brush.
